This weekend I have to repay a favour. A couple of years ago when I bought my house it needed some serious renovating. The walls were covered in woodchip wallpaper; the floors had 1970′s carpet that was all worn and discoloured. So before I could move in I needed to put in some serious hours ripping things out. Basically my parents could see that I had an awful lot of work to do and buying the house had taken my entire budget. So they helped me out as much as they could. My dad was round everyday to load skips, paint walls and do anything else that was required.
This weekend is payback time as I will be helping my dad install new hardwood flooring in his house. After the renovation of my house both of us are now quite experience d in DIY so we should be able to get it done to a pretty high standard.
